Golang Job: Back End Engineer

Based in Berlin and with offices in Paris and Detroit, 3YOURMIND is a dynamic company that provides manufacturing companies with software to optimize their workflows and transition into Additive Manufacturing (industrial 3D printing).

We work with 50+ employees across all offices and are looking for self-driven and creative people to join a company that is passionate about delivering customer-focused innovative products.

When you join our team you will work in a team consisting of 18 developers in an agile development environment.

As our Backend Engineer you will develop new features according to customer requirements within one of our squads, ensure code quality and readability and contribute to improve our software.

Tasks

What You'll Be Working On

• Work in an agile environment together with other developers on a highly scalable enterprise grade product
• Program new features and maintain them using Python and Django
• Close collaboration with our Product Owners, our Developers and other departments to contribute to our product strategy and drive our roadmap
• Solving cross-divisional tasks efficiently and being ahead of current technical trends and technologies
• \[Optional] Working on our development experience (e.g. GoLang, DevOps)

Requirements

What You Should Bring to the Table

• BS/MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 3+ years of product experience with Python and Django
• Solid understanding of backend software architectures
• Comfortable in Agile environments
• A strong preference for TDD, automated testing, and other practices for building resilient software
• A strong preference for readability instead of cleverness
• (Optional) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container based deployments
• Fluent in English
